Our company was founded in 1980
undername "A.EMMANOUILIDIS - G.KOUVOUTSAKIS - E.FOUSTERIS UNLIMITED COMPANY"
The head office was at Kaminia, 5 Moutsipoulou str. The scope of the company was and
continues to be ship machinery repairs of every kind and all over the world.
Because of the increased turnover the above company was relocated in its current address,
6 Egaleo str. Piraeus.
This building is owned by our company and its total surface is 1.500 sq.m plus 1.000 sq.m
as store house.
During the same period we bought another building at Aspropyrgos, 19th km of Athens -
Korinth highway, that has total surface of 3.000 sq.m which has 800 sq.m as factory
building.
In addition two new companies were created by the above partners.
The first under the name "COMETAL LTD." which has as scope the import and export
of several materials and the second under the name "NEW GENERATION SHIPPING" as
a shipping company which was renamed afterwards to "G.M.A MARITIME S.A" Finally
the main company was renamed to "G.M.T.H S.A" in 1993.
Furthermore, the best quality of our repair works and products is quaranteed because of
the high knowledge of our permanent staff and our best equipment such as turnings, milling
machines, pegdrills, drills, saws, welding, and two CNC turnings (NILES NUMERIC H - 643
and OKUMA LB -15 II M). Therefore, our company is on the verge of obtaining the ISO 9002
quality certificate.
Also we own a fleet of vehicles for carrying the parts, 1100 kg total net weight.
Moreover our account department is fully computerized. |
